CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Continuous Improvement (also known as CI and CIP) is the process of continually evaluating processes and making improvements to their efficiency and effectiveness, particularly those related to quality and productivity. An important aspect of CI is small incremental, continuous steps.
CI is now being widely recognised as one the key drivers to improving quality, productivity and the reduction of waste. It requires the commitment and support of management as well as the active participation of the entire workforce.
