The Goods Intake module records real time delivery information directly from the vehicle, via hand held computers. By linking directly to supplier’s specifications the system ensures that incoming materials conform to standard before being located and used in the production process.
Numerous checks can be performed including: temperature, label/coding verification, material assessment, calculation of sampling frequency and weight. Problems are immediately highlighted and actioned in real-time.
Rejection and concession reports, which include photographic evidence taken from the hand held inspection devices, can be produced and forwarded to suppliers. KPI reports such as supplier performance, trending analysis and process capability statistics enhances on-going continuous improvement.
